The first player to reach one of the end squares wins!

Whenever an adventurer moves into a square next to a troll (either orthogonally or diagonally), combat ensues between them using both dice rolls simultaneously (the higher roll always wins). If an adventurer defeats a troll, they take one of that troll's treasure coins - which can then be used as currency later in the game - and move their token ahead one space on the path towards victory. If a troll defeats an adventurer however, they take one health point from that adventurer and push them back one space along whatever path they were travelling on (or back to start if they were defeated in battle). If at any time an adventurer has no more health points left, they are immediately defeated and sent back to start regardless of where they are located on the board.

The final thing worth mentioning is that different spaces on the board can offer different benefits or penalties depending on what type it is: Green spaces offer no benefits or penalties; yellow spaces offer bonuses such as extra movement points or healing potions; purple spaces offer disadvantages such as reduced movement points or traps that must be avoided; finally, red spaces represent where combat takes place between adventurers and trolls (as mentioned earlier).
